Corduroy
Corduroy is a classic staple of childhood wardrobes.  It’s durable and also woven from 100% Cotton, so is kind to the skin but still breathable. Our cord range is made up of needlecord fabric as it has the smallest wales or ridges, so it is the perfect size for sews for babies, toddlers and children. It is ideal for making dungarees, trousers, pinafore dresses and shirts, and can also be used with a warmer lining for items like slippers, mittens and jackets.

Stretch Corduroy is made in the same way as standard Corduroy, but with added elastane to give it a little stretch. It acts more like a knit fabric in this respect, so can be more forgiving for garments for active babies and wriggly toddlers.
